Blue Ridge Riding Academy specializes in private riding and driving lessons for children and adults. We do not offer trail riding to the public. Our family owned and operated facility is located in Blountville, Tennessee.  Built in 1980 by Don and Barbara Godsey, Blue Ridge Riding Academy is on premise at Blue Ridge Stock Farm. We provide indoor and outdoor riding year round. Vicki Godsey Casenburg serves as Instructor for the Riding Academy. Located on Boone Lake in Blountville, we are convenient to Kingsport, Bristol and Johnson City, Tennessee.

Our first goal is to keep our students safe. Our second goal is to make every rider/driver's experience fun and incredibly enjoyable. Our third goal is to help them achieve their own personal horsemanship goals-whatever they may be.

Our youngest riders are four years of age. Our oldest riders are in their 70s!  They all share a love of horses and a desire to learn to ride them safely in a family-friendly environment.

We are excited about developing new students!  Your goals are our goals whether or not you want to show or just learn about the basics. We do participate entry level shows called Academy shows for those that are just starting out. You ride/drive our lesson horses! Horse show expenses are not included in lesson pricing.
