Blue Ridge Riding Academy is a tuition based riding academy. Most families are familiar with this type of billing from other local sports and dance facilities. A tuition based plan means there will be a flat fee for 4 monthly riding lessons. On months that contain five weeks, you will be billed for 5 riding lessons. Blue Ridge will notify students in advance if the Academy will be closed for Holidays or Horse Shows. All lessons are private with one on one instruction for 45 total minutes. Lessons include not just riding but personal time with your lesson horse grooming and tacking. 

Monthly tuition on a standard 4 week month would be $158.00 ($39.50  per private lesson)
Single lessons for riders not on our regular schedule would be $49.00 per lesson

How to Pay
We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We do offer bank draft option.

New Riders Can Start Their Lessons Anytime
Students enrolling for the first time will be billed for the lessons remaining in that month based on the $39.50 rate. There is no registration fee.

24 hour Cancellation Policy
Please note that in 2012, we will enforce the barn's 24 hour cancellation policy. If you must miss your scheduled lesson for any reason other that sickness or emergency, you will be charged for that lesson if you do not contact the barn 24 hours in advance.  We only instruct private lessons meaning we only have a select number of teaching spots available. Please respect our policy as we cannot fill your lesson spot last minute. 
 
Make up Lessons
Lessons missed due to illness or emergency may be made up within 30 days of the missed class. Lessons can be made up by appointment with your instructor. There is no makeup for unexcused absences.
